Programmes

Different starting points, one connected approach to development. Our planned school, club and private coaching programmes offer different levels of support and commitment, with camps and tournaments extending the experience. Each combines technical, tactical, physical, psychological and social learning. Explore the age phases, training focus and review process to understand which route may suit your player.

Ask about future events

Before booking: families will receive confirmed dates, arrangements, total fees, what is included, assessment terms and cancellation information. No place or payment is secured through this enquiry form.

Not sure which route fits? Tell us the player’s age, football experience and what they would like from coaching. We can discuss the plans; an enquiry does not reserve a place or create a booking.

Phases

Age is a starting point, not the whole assessment. Experience, confidence and individual needs help us adapt the challenge within each phase. The initial programme plan is for ages 7–14; the full club pathway includes the future stages below.

PhaseAge groupDevelopment focus
Little KickersAges 2–4 · FutureMixed play, movement, ball exploration and settling into a group.
Pre-FoundationU5–U6 · FutureMixed groups; coordination, confidence, simple choices and learning through play.
FoundationU7–U11 · Initial focusBall confidence, finding space, one-against-one situations and working with teammates.
Youth DevelopmentU12–U16 · Launch focus U12–U14Decisions under pressure, combining units, positional understanding and greater player ownership.
TransitionU17–U18 · FuturePreparation for senior football, individual roles and increasing independence.

From U7 onwards, club teams are separate for boys and girls. The five-corner model guides every programme, but priorities change with the player: a session does not need five separate blocks to develop all five areas.

School

Planned weekly football · 50 minutes

Who it is for

For pupils aged 7–14, including children new to football. Schools can discuss delivery; families can ask about proposed school groups. No previous English or club membership is required.

Still to be confirmed

Participating schools, venues, start dates, session times, staffing and fees are still to be confirmed.

Foundation and Youth Development · Initial ages 7–14

A first step into football in a familiar school setting. Children can join with little playing experience, develop confidence with the ball and enjoy being part of a group. School sessions stand alone; there is no requirement to join the club.

The weekly session

The planned format is one 50-minute session per age group each week. Movement games, ball challenges and small-sided matches give children time to practise passing, receiving, dribbling and finishing, then try those skills in a game.

English through football

No previous English is needed. Coaches will use short instructions, demonstrations and repetition so children learn football vocabulary through playing. Language-support arrangements for understanding, wellbeing and safety will be agreed before the programme starts.

The five corners in practice

Technical
Exploring dribbling, receiving, passing and finishing with plenty of involvement.
Tactical
Noticing space, recognising a teammate and choosing when to move or pass.
Physical
Movement, balance and coordination through age-appropriate ball games.
Psychological
Trying something unfamiliar, staying involved and responding to a mistake.
Social
Taking turns, cooperating and using simple English in shared activities.

How the school block develops

A block will revisit a small set of themes through varied games. Younger Foundation players need clear demonstrations, simple choices and time with the ball. Youth players can face more pressure, more options and greater responsibility. Coaches will adapt the tasks to the school group rather than copy a club session.

What families can expect

The emphasis is participation and a positive first experience, alongside visible football learning. Planned feedback will describe what the group is practising and the small steps a child is making. School attendance does not carry an expectation of joining an EFA team.

Planned team training · Frequency by phase

Who it is for

For players seeking regular team training: Foundation U7–U11 and Youth Development U12–U14 in the initial plan. School attendance is not required.

Still to be confirmed

Venues, training days, start dates, available groups, fees and assessment booking terms are still to be confirmed. Weekend fixtures and competition entry are also planned, not confirmed.

Foundation U7–U11 · Youth Development U12–U14 at launch

For players who want regular training and a closer connection to a team. The club plan provides two weekly sessions for Foundation and three for Youth Development, with 60-minute sessions. Groups will reflect age, experience, confidence and development needs.

Training with a purpose

Players will work on ball skills, movement and decisions through practices linked to the game. A session might explore receiving under pressure, combining with a teammate or defending together, before using those ideas in small-sided football.

The first four weeks

A four-week paid assessment is planned before an ongoing place is agreed. Coaches will get to know the player, discuss their experience with the family and identify a suitable group. Where more preparation would help, an individual development route can be discussed.

Progress and match play

Individual goals will connect training with feedback for players and parents. We will consider technical, tactical, physical, psychological and social development. Weekend games are part of the plan; fixtures and competition arrangements will be confirmed separately.

The five corners in practice

Technical
Receiving, protecting and moving the ball while facing realistic pressure.
Tactical
Recognising space, supporting teammates and connecting individual decisions to the team.
Physical
Age-appropriate movement preparation, coordination and the demands of playing.
Psychological
Setting goals, making decisions and responding constructively to challenge.
Social
Communicating, sharing responsibility and respecting teammates, opponents and officials.

Connecting the training week

The planned weekly sessions will share a football theme. Foundation has two sessions; Youth Development has three, allowing more time to revisit learning in different game situations. Practices move from an accessible starting task towards more game-like situations and small-sided play. Match observations will help inform the following week.

Individual development inside the team

Players and coaches will agree a small number of priorities and connect them to training. Reviews should use concrete examples: what the player noticed, tried and can now repeat in a game. Families will receive context for the goals. The longer-term player passport is intended to bring reviews, reflections and selected video together as the systems develop.

Joining the club

Private

Planned individual support · Goals agreed together

Who it is for

For players aged 7–14 who want support with a specific football goal, confidence or preparation for group training. It can complement existing football.

Still to be confirmed

Coach availability, location, start date, session length, frequency and total cost must be agreed individually. No team place is guaranteed.

Individual support within Foundation and Youth Development · Initial ages 7–14

Focused support for a player with a specific goal, or someone who would benefit from preparation before joining a group. Private coaching is intended to complement a player’s wider football experience, with priorities agreed together.

Start with the player

An initial conversation will explore what the player enjoys, where they feel confident and what they want help with. This could be their first touch, passing, finishing, movement or confidence returning to group football. The player’s own view matters alongside the parent’s.

A focused development plan

Individual coaching will centre on a small number of achievable goals, with practice adapted to the player and a review of what is improving. Session length, frequency and cost will be agreed before starting.

Bringing it back to the game

The aim is to use new skills with other players, not only in isolated exercises. Where the goal is to join an EFA group, progress will be reviewed before a supported introduction. Private coaching does not guarantee a team place or progression to another club.

The five corners in practice

Technical
Working on the specific action the player wants to improve.
Tactical
Understanding when and why to use that action in a game.
Physical
Adapting movement demands, space and repetition to the individual.
Psychological
Building confidence through achievable challenge and reflection.
Social
Helping the player communicate needs and reconnect learning with teammates.

Assess, practise, apply, review

Private coaching begins with an agreed question. The coach observes the player, establishes a manageable focus and designs practices around it. The player is encouraged to try the idea in group football and bring examples back to the review. A goal can change as the coach and player learn more.

Agreeing the right support

A family enquiry should explain the player’s age, football experience, existing training and main concern. Together we can decide whether an individual programme is useful, how it fits around other football and what a review should cover. There is no fixed promise of improvement within a set number of sessions.

Camps & tournaments

Future plans · Bookings closed

Who it is for

For families interested in future holiday football or team competition experiences. Each event would have its own age groups and participation arrangements.

Future status

No camp, tournament, venue, visiting team or booking date is confirmed. Ages, hours, supervision, fees and any travel arrangements will be published for each event before booking.

Planned camps: Foundation and Youth Development · Event ages to be confirmed

More time to play, meet other players and experience football beyond the weekly routine. Summer camps and tournaments are future programme plans, with their own age groups, formats and entry arrangements.

Summer camps

The proposed camp format combines ball challenges, small-group coaching and matches, with practical English woven into the day. Players would have time to settle, make friends and try different activities, with appropriate breaks, drinks and recovery built into the timetable.

Tournaments

Our ambition is to offer meaningful competition against different opposition, with age-appropriate challenge and clear learning goals. Future camps and tournaments will connect players through the game. No event or visiting team is currently confirmed.

Before families book

Each event will need a clear information pack covering dates, venue, ages, daily hours, supervision, arrival and collection, costs and what is included. Travel and accommodation details will be explained where relevant. Bookings are not yet open; you can enquire while the plans develop.

The five corners in practice

Technical
More opportunities to explore skills through varied challenges and matches.
Tactical
Adapting to different teammates, opposition and game situations.
Physical
Balancing activity with breaks and recovery across the event.
Psychological
Managing unfamiliar situations and reflecting on successes and setbacks.
Social
Making connections, sharing the experience and representing the club respectfully.

A camp day with a purpose

The proposed rhythm includes a welcome and movement games, a focused football theme, small-group challenges and matches, followed by a short reflection. Activities would be adapted to the group and conditions. Practical English runs through play and cooperation. Final daily hours and the balance of activities will be set for each confirmed event.

What a tournament should add

A tournament should give players appropriate opposition, a clear football challenge and an opportunity to learn together. The plan is to prepare the team before travelling, explain playing arrangements to families and review the experience afterwards. Invitations, travel opportunities or tournament participation do not imply scouting access or a pathway guarantee.

Camp and tournament enquiries

Participation and individual needs

Tell us if you would like a private conversation about communication, access or adapting activities. You do not need to put a diagnosis, medical record or sensitive family information in the enquiry form. We will discuss what support is needed and what we can realistically provide before a place is agreed.

Girls and boys share the same five-corner development principles. From U7, the planned club groups are separate. Actual groups, coaching arrangements and availability will be confirmed before enrolment.

Ask about participation support

For schools

Begin with the age groups, approximate number of pupils and the kind of programme you would like to explore. Do not submit pupil names or personal information.

A delivery proposal should agree learning aims, group sizes, supervision, staffing checks, equipment, appropriate space, safeguarding responsibilities, fees, cancellation arrangements and the review process. No school partnership is confirmed by sending an enquiry.
